While crime, MPS and infrastructure problems continue to exist, there is no doubt that the affluent downtown area of Milwaukee is going through a revival of sorts.  Last year the controversial downtown trolley was launched and earlier this year the DNC selected Milwaukee to host their 2020 national convention.
