DESCRIPTION:It seems that the nation’s eyes have increasingly been on Wisconsin and our politics a lot over the last several election cycles. When folks around the country want to know the mood of the state’s electorate on any given topic or political candidate\, they look to the polls conducted by this month’s guest speaker – Professor Charles Franklin of Marquette University Law School. \nProfessor Franklin is a nationally recognized government scholar and pollster\, and has been director of the Marquette Law School Poll since its inception in 2012. He’ll share his insights from the 2020 elections and its implications for the upcoming 2022 midterms. \nProfessor Franklin has led the Law School Poll in each of the highly scrutinized election cycles since 2012\, establishing Marquette as the definitive source for information concerning public opinion in Wisconsin. His articles on partisanship\, public opinion and the Supreme Court\, and U.S. Senate elections have appeared in a number of major journals and book chapters. He has been a member of the ABC News election night analysis team since 2002.

DESCRIPTION:Record low unemployment\, rising wages\, lower income taxes\, budgets surpluses and a pro-business environment helped Wisconsin land one of the largest and most impactful business development stories in the nation – Foxconn.  This month\, the state elected a governor that strongly opposes the Foxconn development and promises to roll it back\, while at the same time electing all the same legislators that strongly supported and helped engineer the development. \nTim Sheehy\, President of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce\, will join us on Tuesday November 27th at 5pm to help us sort out what’s in store for Wisconsin considering the election results and what the impact could be on the Foxconn development.

SUMMARY:Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Club
DESCRIPTION:The Admirals first took to the ice in the winter of 1970 as an amateur club known as the Milwaukee Wings\, the name was changed in 1971.  After many changes in the league\, the Admirals continue to be one the more successful franchises in the American Hockey League. \nWith changes at the BMO Harris Bradley Center\, the team has taken up home at the newly renovated UWM Panther Arena.  Integral to the Admirals success on the ice and off has been Jon Greenberg\, who is in his 13th year as the president of the club. \nUnder his guidance the team has seen significant increases in attendance and corporate sponsorship.   Last season\, the Admirals set new organizational standards for revenue generation which was recognized by the American Hockey League. \nJoin us on February 27th at 5pm to meet and hear from Jon on the current state of the Milwaukee Admirals.
