Economic Development activity in the city of Milwaukee has been extremely high over the last several years.  The new Milwaukee Bucks arena, the Northwestern Mutual Tower & Commons, several new hotels and office buildings, residential apartment buildings and a controversial but publicly funded trolley just to name a few.  Our guest speaker this month has been a part of all of these projects and many others.

Our speaker this month is Rocky Marcoux, the Commissioner of the Department of City Development for the City of Milwaukee.  In this role, Rocky oversees the city’s economic development, real estate, neighborhood improvement and planning efforts.

Rocky has been a regular speaker at Corporate Casual,  but he plans to provide an update on current projects, (some you may not be aware of), and give us an insight into the City’s vision for future development.
