The problems facing the traditional news media are well known, but this month’s guests take a unique approach to telling the stories of our community.

Nate Imig is Managing Producer of 88.9 Radio Milwaukee’s feature segment Community Stories. Every week, he is out and about in Milwaukee, interviewing people and organizations making a difference in his hometown. He and his team produce five original short form feature stories about Milwaukee and its nonprofits every week, both for on-air and online audiences. In addition to creating audio content. Nate also works closely with his colleague, Laura Kezman, to create in-depth documentary-style video content for the station’s multimedia series 88Nine Presents, exploring various topics through personal storytelling.
