As more states move to legalize and regulate the use of marijuana, the businesses that help make the controversial industry run are facing some unique challenges in selling their products and services to growers and distributors.  Landlords, banks, manufacturers, and other vendors all encounter greater scrutiny.

Our guest this month, Clif Tomasini, is the business manager for Therma-Stor, a Madison, WI based firm that manufactures energy efficient, commercial dehumidifiers to the cannabis industry.

According to analyst estimates, legal marijuana sales could soar from $6 billion today to $50 billion by 2026. Additionally, the industry currently employs about 150,000 people and analysts predict that the marijuana job market could double or triple in the years to come.
