Since our country’s founding the two-party political process has ruled.  This means that voters select their leaders based on the candidates nominated by the two parties in a “winner take all” election.  Our guest this month represents a growing group of organizations that believe this model should be challenged in favor of a system that they believe is more representative of the whole population and can hold our elected officials accountable.

Our guest this month is Sara Eskrich, Executive Director of Democracy Found.  Democracy Found is a Wisconsin-based initiative committed to revitalizing democracy. By implementing a system wherein the top four candidates are selected from the primary ballot and ranked choice voting is used in the general election.
